Yes, brush-up lessons are available for drivers who already have a licence and want to improve confidence or specific skills like parallel parking, highway merging, or downtown driving. Brush-up packages run from one to five lessons.

What should I bring to my first lesson?

Your valid Class 7 Alberta Learner’s Licence (or higher), any glasses or contact lenses you drive with, and comfortable closed-toe shoes. Everything else — vehicle, dual controls, "STUDENT DRIVER" signage — is provided.

Do you provide the car for the road test?

Yes, students can use our training vehicle for the road test. The car is registered, insured, and inspected for examiner use — for full-course students it’s included, and for brush-up students it can be added for an additional rental fee.

Our final lessons are dedicated to mock-test practice on examiner-style routes around Calgary. We cover the most common reasons students fail the test — uncontrolled intersections, parallel parking, lane positioning — so you arrive on test day with a clear plan and no surprises.

What is the Insurance Reduction Course?

It’s an Alberta Transportation–approved driver-training program that combines online classroom learning with in-vehicle instruction. Graduates receive an official Driving Zone certificate that may help qualify for an insurance premium reduction, depending on the carrier’s policies.

How do I qualify for the Insurance Reduction certificate?

Students must complete a minimum of 10 hours of in-car training and achieve the required passing score on the knowledge component of the course. All four of our main course packages — Drive Xpert, Xcel, Xplore, and Xceed — include the certificate when the requirements are met.

How much do driving lessons cost?

Full-course packages range from $485 + GST (Drive Xceed, 6 hours) to $1,275 + GST (Drive Xpert, 20 hours), each including the online classroom and Insurance Reduction certificate. What payment methods do you accept?

Registration is processed online via secure Stripe checkout — major credit and debit cards are supported. GST is added at checkout. We do not store your card details on our servers; payment data goes directly to Stripe.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to avoid a $75 + GST cancellation or rescheduling fee. No-shows are charged the full lesson fee. Partial refunds are calculated based on how far along the course you are, with a $75 + GST administrative fee. The full five-clause policy is on the Refund Policy page.
